PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche G Joe Starzynski had a fantastic final week of the regular season as La Roche clinched the top seed in the AMCC Tournament and a share of the regular season championship. In Wednesday's 76-64 victory over Carlow, Starzynski put together a line of 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal, extending the Redhawks winning streak to 13. On Saturday, despite being defeated by Penn State Altoona, Starzynski penciled in a double-double to the stat sheet with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while also chipping in a pair of steals and three blocks on the defensive end. For the week, Starzynski averaged 20.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona F Dwayne Jones helped lead the Lions through a 1-1 week of AMCC play, as he led all players in the game against Pitt-Bradford with 23 points and 17 rebounds, tying his career-high in rebounds and notching his ninth double-double of the season, and he also had a team-high four assists and game-high six blocks, he then finished with nine points, six rebounds, one steal, and one block in a win over La Roche...Hilbert G Quran Briggs led the Hawks to two wins last week, averaging 22 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, as he scored his season high 26 points and grabbed four rebounds, while shooting 8-for-12 from the field in the 80-77 Senior Day win over Mount Aloysious...Pitt-Bradford G/F Jamarion Butler had a strong week for the Panthers as he led Pitt-Bradford to a pair of victories to clinch a postseason spot, as he averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 43.8% from the field...Alfred State C Cody Schneider averaged 15.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game, as he scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds against Behrend, then followed with eight points and 11 assists against Carlow...Carlow G Jimmy Giannetta led the team last week, averaging 18.5 points and shooting 58.6 percent from the field, as he scored a game- and season-high 22 points at La Roche...PS-Behrend G Charlie Breindel tallied a career-high 17 points to help lead the Lions to a 75-68 win at Wells on Saturday, the second-year guard shot 5-for-9 from the field and 2-for-3 from long range, while also going 5-for-6 from the charity stripe against the Express.
