Pitt-Bradford will travel to Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday afternoon to take on the La Roche University Redhawks in the AMCC Men's Basketball Game of the Week. 

Pitt-Bradford (8-8, 3-4) enters the contest after a tough overtime loss at Medaille. They are currently 8-8 on the season with a 3-4 record in AMCC play. The Panthers are led by two dynamic scorers, who sit atop the AMCC leaderboards. Junior Nathan Schneider has the second highest scoring average in the conference with 20.4 ppg. He is also the AMCC’s leading rebounder, grabbing 12.0 per game, 3.7 more than the next nearest competitor. Freshman guard Isaiah Archie is the league’s top scorer, as he is averaging 22.4 ppg. He also is fifth in the AMCC in field goal percentage, making 55.3% of his shots from the field. The Duo of Trey Oyler and Alex Rodriguez have also been key pieces for the Panthers, as they are two of the more efficient three point shooters in the AMCC. Oyler is shooting 50.0% from behind the arc, the second-highest percentage, while Rodriguez is two spots behind him at 47.5%.

The Redhawks (7-7, 5-2) are walking into this week’s matchup against Pitt-Bradford with one win already under their belt. As well as maintaining their third place ranking in the conference. La Roche is averaging 80 points per game and has a field goal shooting percentage of 46.8%, which has been increasing with every contest. Junior Devon Darrell is leading the Redhawks through the 2021-22 season, averaging 13.3 points per game in conference play. He shoots a field goal percentage of 55.1%. Darrell isn’t a selfish player, as he leads the team in assists and averages 5.0 per game in conference action. Backing him up is freshman Kadyn Hannah, who has started every game this season as a freshman. His highest scoring game was 30 points on January 8 against Alfred State, while also contributing 20 and 21 points on two other occasions. Hannah owns a field goal percentage of 65.3%.
