PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State INF Elijah Barinas was a dominant force in the Pioneers' double AMCC sweep last week to extend their win streak to 10 and remain undefeated in conference play. In four games, Barinas went 9-for-10 at the plate, recorded a .900 batting average, 1.400 slugging percentage, seven RBIs, five runs, two triples, one double and stole five bases. In their sweep over Medaille, he went a perfect 6-for-6 at the plate. In their 11-5 win in game one he had two RBIs and scored one run. In game two, they won 12-2 and he contributed three RBIs, one run and one triple. Against Penn St.-Altoona, Barinas was a combined 3-for-4 at the plate. In their 4-0 shutout in game one, he had one run and one triple. In their 13-3 win in game two he was 1-for-1 at the plate and recorded two RBIs and two runs.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert C Samuel Mullen had a big week to lead the Hawks to a 3-1 record with wins over Pitt-Bradford and La Roche, as he had three multi-hit games and finished the week with a .615 batting average, .706 on base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage, including a pair of doubles and a home run while finishing with eight runs batted in, three runs scored and walked four times...Mount Aloysius C/INF Aidan Bell continued his great run production in the Mounties' split against Penn State Behrend, as he went 3-for-6 in a game one loss, then in game two, he drove in four runs and scored twice, including a bottom of the 11th, walk-off, two-run homerun over the left field fence to give the Mounties the victory...PS-Behrend INF Zack Bowen helped lead the Lions to a 4-2 week to open conference play, collecting hits in all but one game, as he went 9-for-23 on the week (.391) and drove in four runs, while also scoring five runs and swiping four bags to crack the conference top-5 in stolen bases...Medaille INF/OF Aaron Huddleston earned a .417 batting average as he went 5-for-12 with one double, two RBIs, and two runs scored, as his best game was against Alfred State where he batted 1.000 going 3-for-3 with one double, two RBI's and one run scored.
