Whelan was outstanding in the Hawks' first round sweep over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday afternoon. After registering a three-hit performance in game one, Whelan was even better in game two recording a five-hit game while belting a pair of home runs to send the Hawks to the AMCC Championship next weekend. Whelan finished the day with eight hits, seven RBI, four runs scored, a walk, hit by pitch and a stolen base. He batted .727 with a 1.273 slugging percentage and an impressive 1.987 OPS.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona INF Corey Chamberlain had a strong weekend at the plate for the Lions in their three-game AMCC Tournament series against #3 Mount Aloysius, as he combined to go 7-for-14 (.500) with three RBI and three runs scored...PS-Behrend INF Isaac Stouffer hit .571 in a 1-1 week for the Lions, as he went 4-for-7 with three RBI, one double and one run scored, he had a .714 slugging percentage and .667 on-base percentage.
