Ionadi hit .526 in a 4-1 week for the Lions, going 10-for-19 with 12 RBI, two doubles and two home runs. The freshman also stole two bases and scored nine runs of his own. Ionadi had a standout performance against first place Alfred State, as he recorded two home runs for seven RBI in the 10-3 win over the Pioneers. He had multiple hits in four of the five games.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State 1B Nick Serce broke the single season homerun record for the AMCC this past week, as he hit his 17th homer of the season in a sweep over La Roche, helping the Pioneers finish 12-2 in conference play, for the week he hit .529, including six RBI, five runs scored, and two stolen bases...PS-Altoona 1B/P Jon Rauch had a great week at the plate for the Lions in home doubleheaders against non-conference opponent Penn College and AMCC foe Penn State Behrend, as he notched three multi-hit performances and had 13 total bases, hitting .529 (9-for-17) with 10 RBI, four runs scored, one home run, and one double...Hilbert 1B Patrick Whelan logged three multi-hit games in four contests this past week to lead the Hawks, as he finished the week batting .533 with a .933 slugging percentage and 1.544 OPS, he had eight hits including a double, triple and home run while adding seven RBI, five runs scored and two stolen bases...Mount Aloysius INF Tyler Suder had a massive week, at the plate, picking up multi-hit games in three of four and recording five extra-base hits on the week, as he hit .667 and slugged .944 on the week, he had a standout series against La Roche, reaching base all but once, going 9-for-10 with three doubles and four RBI.
