Brackna had a stellar week for the Spartans and played a big role in both of their wins last week. Brackna hit .440 in seven games, recording a hit in five of them. Against Principia on Monday, Brackna went 3-5 with two runs scored, a triple and three RBI. The team won the game 17-5. On Sunday against Wells, Brackna had another outstanding game going 4-5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI. Through the week he totaled 11 hits, five runs, five RBI a double and a triple.

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche OF Corey Lazor hit .455 (5 for 11) with four runs, four RBI, two doubles, a home run and a walk as the Redhawks went 3-0 on the week...Hilbert C Ryan Bonafede posted a .750 batting average, .857 on base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage in two games as he also collected two RBI, three runs scored, and was 1-1 in stolen bases...Mount Aloysius INF Matthew McCourt homered twice last week for the Mounties, bringing his AMCC league leading total to seven home runs, as he added three RBI and scored three runs of his own...Pitt-Greensburg OF Ryan Dodson went 3-for-4 against Bethany College, recording two RBI and two runs scored, including a solo home run in the eighth inning to tie the game at five for Pitt-Greensburg...PS-Behrend C Ryan Hamm captured two multi-hit games over the weekend against Ohio Wesleyan, as he went 3-for-5 in game one and scored one run and followed that up by smacking a double and a single in game two to bring his hit total to five.
