PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg INF/P Chad Jacob paced the Pitt-Greensburg offense last week, tallying a team-high 12 hits. The senior first baseman went 12 for 26 with five doubles, five runs scored, and seven RBI. He posted an impressive playoff performance in two wins over Pitt-Bradford, where he went 8-12 with three doubles, scored three runs, and picked up five RBI while posting an .800 on base% and a 1.400 slugging%. He'd also add two school season records in the playoff sweep, collecting his 60th hit and 19th double to set new highs in both categories.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mt. Aloysius INF Ian Helsel led the Mounties offense on Saturday hitting .500 in two games with three runs scored and a triple...La Roche 2B Colin Feikles hit .333 with four runs, four RBIs, a home run, double, two stolen bases and a walk in a 3-1 week for the Redhawks...Medaille OF/C Dan Luppens batted .550 and was 11-20, including five doubles, helping to get the Mavs get back into the post season for the first time since 2011...PS-Behrend 1B/OF Nathan Junk hit .450, racking up nine hits in 20 at-bats, while smacking three doubles and driving in eight runs.
