PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mt. Aloysius OF Connor Bowie led the Mounties to a 3-1 week in conference play slugging an impressive 1.353. He broke the single season Mount Aloysius homerun record with his seventh of the year. He also singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th in against Pitt Bradford to secure the #3 seed for the upcoming AMCC Playoffs. Bowie's seven homeruns on the year ties him for first in the AMCC. He also leads the conference with 20 stolen bases and he sits in fifth in RBIs with 29. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford INF Ethan Showers went 11-15 during the week, including eight RBIs, three runs scored and a 1.467 slugging percentage...Hilbert 2B Dan Christmann went 11-16 this past weekend (.688 BA) with eight RBIs and five runes scored in four games...PS-Behrend OF Alex Margraf went 11-for-23 (.478) from the plate by driving in five RBI's and manufacturing nine runs, while posting an OBP of .500 in the five games...PS-Altoona OF Jack Cleary recorded three multi-hit games and batted .400 (8-for-20) with seven runs scored, two RBI, and one double while also walking three times...La Roche OF John Watson hit .526 (10 for 19) with three home runs, seven RBIs, six runs, three walks and a stolen base...Pitt-Greensburg INF Matt Germanoski batted .417 with five hits in 12 at bats that included two doubles and one home run, while recording four RBIs and three runs scored.
