AMCC BASEBALL GAME OF THE WEEK: LA ROCHE AT BEHREND
The top two baseball teams in the AMCC will square off Saturday afternoon as first place La Roche College (29-7, 14-0 AMCC) travels to Erie, PA to take on second place Penn State Behrend (19-16, 10-4 AMCC) in the AMCC Game of the Week. It is sure to be a battle, as either the Redhawks or the Lions have taken the AMCC baseball title eight of the past nine years, with La Roche winning the past three.

It is sure to be a battle, as either the Redhawks or the Lions have taken the AMCC baseball title eight of the past nine years, with La Roche winning the past three.
La Roche senior first baseman David Lemley leads the way offensively for the Redhawks, as he ranks second in the AMCC with a .455 batting average and leads the conference with 43 RBI. Senior first baseman Mitchell Yard and and sophomore catcher Shane Roebuck add a punch to the lineup with the long ball, as the two rank second and third in the conference with nine and eight homeruns, respectively. On the mound, sophomore Nick Tunstall is tops in the league with a 1.72 ERA, while junior Regis Sauer leads the way with seven wins on the year.
Behrend has won their past four games, including senior cathcher Brian Bohman surpassing 200 career hits in their sweep of D'Youville Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore outfielder Mason McGuire leads the Lions with a .368 batting average, while sophomore infielder Scott Sada is right behind him with a .367 average. Sophomore Phil Myers is second in the conference with a 2.19 ERA, while seniors Jack Herzing (67) and Justin Rohrer (56) hold down the top two spots for strikeouts.
