AMCC ANNOUNCES ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR DECEMBER 16-22, 2024

The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's basketball for the period running from December 16-22, 2024. 

Women's Basketball: La Roche G Jazmine Dunn had two solid all-around games for the Redhawks in their 1-1 week, as she contributed 11 points, five rebounds and a pair of steals in Tuesday's matchup against nationally ranked Carnegie Mellon, she then followed that performance in Saturday's victory over Hiram with 12 points, five more rebounds, four assists and two steals. 

Men's Basketball: Carlow G Nehemiah Brazil hit a three-pointer to tie the game with 20 seconds left, leading the Celtics to their first AMCC win of the season, a narrow 71-70 victory over Pitt-Greensburg. Brazil led the team with 19 points on the night.
