Men's Basketball: Pitt-Bradford G Braylen Salters starred in Pitt-Bradford's 117-103 win over Hilbert in the AMCC Game of the Week, scoring 35 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 5 steals. He made 12-23 from the field, including 4 threes, while also making 7 of 9 from the line. For the week, he averaged 29.5 points per game, 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. He shot 55.3% from the field, 44.4% from three and 81.8% from the line.
Women's Basketball: Penn State Altoona F Avana Sayles had an historic week for the Lions as she became just the sixth player in Altoona Lions' women's basketball program history to reach 1,000 career points in her team's victory at Marywood on Wednesday night. In that contest, she finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block. The junior followed that up with 20 points, 10 rebounds, six steals, three blocks, and one assist in the Lions' loss to Alfred U on Saturday afternoon. On the week, Avana averaged 22.5 points per game, 10.0 rebounds per game, 4.5 steals per game, 2.0 assists per game, and 2.0 blocks per game. The double-doubles were her third and fourth of the season.
