The Hilbert College baseball team came together in support of the Special Olympics for a few hours on Saturday.

The Hawks assisted the 22 and over Western Region Bowling Regional which took place at AMF Airport Lanes in Cheektowaga.

The baseball team assisted in a variety of ways in an effort to enhance the 150+ competitors experience at the bowling competition. They helped track scores, provide refreshments during and after the event, and passed out medals afterwards, all while connecting with the athletes on their assigned lanes throughout the duration of the event.

Coach Drew Fittry and his players continue to assist with the NCAA Division III initiative, which partners with the Special Olympics.
