The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is pleased to announce that it will host SOPA Hoops this upcoming Saturday afternoon, February 9, 2019.
Saturday's event will be held in conjunction with Pitt-Greensburg's men's and women's basketball doubleheader against Penn State Behrend. 

Saturday's event brings athletes representing Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA) Westmoreland County to the Pitt-Greensburg campus to compete in exhibition contest that will take place at halftime of the men's game. 

A 50/50 will also take place where proceeds from the event will be donated towards Special Olympics Pennsylvania Westmoreland County.

The Pitt-Greensburg women's team is scheduled to take on Penn State Behrend at 2 pm, followed by the men's game at 4 pm.

Prior to the start of the men's contest, Pitt-Greensburg senior Kyle Bondi will be honored during a Senior Day ceremony.
