PENN ST. ALTOONA SAAC COLLECTS DONATIONS FOR MORDEN FOUNDATION

The Penn State Altoona Student-Athlete Advisory Committee recently partnered with The Brian Morden Foundation to raise money and collect donated items to support the fight against pediatric cancer.

During the Penn State Altoona men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Saturday, February 17, as well as throughout the week leading up to the games, representatives from the campus' SAAC group collected monetary donations and items for The Brian Morden Foundation. The Morden Foundation raises money and collects useful items, such as school supplies, children's books, electronics, and clothing. The money and items that The Morden Foundation collect are then donated to children with cancer, as well as their families and the regional hospitals that care for the pediatric cancer patients.

Penn State Altoona SAAC collected $294.94 in monetary donations, sold $42 worth of merchandise, and took a countless number of items, all of which was given to The Morden Foundation in support of its cause.
