ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team had three different players score to defeat Waynesburg 3-1 in the opening round of the Mt. Union Invitational on Saturday.

* The Lions scored two second-half goals to pull away from the Yellowjackets
* After a 1-all first half, Behrend tallied a goal in the 54th and 87th minute to take the lead while getting a late insurance goal
* Waynesburg got on the scoreboard first, netting a goal at 9:47 into the first half
* Almost three minutes later, John Ziobro (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) put away Behrend's first goal of the season off an assist from Johnathan Swann (Allison Park, PA/North Allegheny)
