ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team clinched the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Regular Season Title on Saturday with a sweep over conference foe, La Roche. The Lions battled back to defeat the Redhawks in game one with two homeruns in the final frame to seal it and led comfortably in game two, outscoring La Roche by double-digits.

* With the teams tied at five headed to the seventh, Isaac Stouffer (Punxsutawney, PA/ Punxsutawney) gave Behrend the lead with a lead-off homerun
* Daniel Boehme (Peters Township, PA/Seton LaSalle) added insurance with a solo shot of his own, making for a 7-5 final score
* Joe Lang (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) entered in the seventh and got three consecutive outs including one punch out to nail down the game one victory

* The Lion lead quickly disappeared as the Redhawks grabbed one back in the bottom half and plated three in the second to take the 4-2 advantage
* Behrend responded with three runs scattered throughout the third and fourth inning
* La Roche tied it in the bottom of the fourth to set up the dramatic finish in the seventh inning

Game Two Key Moments:

* Bogats and Bowen combined to get the Lions on the board first in the night cap, leading the game off with consecutive doubles
* Bogats scored via sac fly and Bowen followed, scoring on an error
* Behrend loaded the bases in the fifth and came away with two runs with RBIs credited to both John Berger (Wexford, PA/Pine-Richland) and Hunter Jamison (Allison Park, PA/Shaler Area)
