Softball Honors Three Seniors Sunday
The Penn State Behrend softball team will honor its three seniors on Sunday in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) doubleheader against Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday at the Behrend Field.

* Before the game, we will recognize the 2025 seniors: Myranda Findlay (Cambridge Springs, PA/Cambridge Springs), Jocelyn McNany (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and Sierra Williams (Grove City, PA/Lakeview)
* These seniors were instrumental in helping Behrend to a 92-59 overall record and an impressive 52-8 AMCC record. They have helped the Lions capture two AMCC Championships and advance to the NCAA Tournament twice
* Last week, McNany hit .667 in four games, going 10-for-15 with two doubles, two triples and a home run, she drove in eight runs and scored seven. She also had a 1.267 slugging percentage, one stolen base and one sacrifice fly
* In game two at Altoona, Williams tallied an RBI single to center field to give her 100 career hits
* The Lions are tied for second place in the AMCC with an 8-4 record
* Behrend is coming off a pair of losses at Allegheny on Thursday in non-conference action
* The Lions fell 4-2 in the opener and 4-3 in game two

* The Bobcats are in fourth place in the conference with four games remaining
* Pitt-Greensburg took a pair from Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday afternoon on Senior Day
* The Bobcats pulled out a 3-1 game-one victory and a 5-2 decision in the nightcap
* Melanie Mienke went the distance and struck out eight in game one
* Mienke ranks third in the conference with a 2.60 ERA and is tied for fourth with six wins
* As a team, the Bobcats rank second in strikeouts (144), third in doubles (43) and home runs (8)
* Pitt-Greensburg was picked to finish fifth in the AMCC Preseason Coaches Poll
