GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team tallied their second consecutive straight-set win, registering a 3-0 victory over Thiel on Wednesday night.

Key Moments:

* The Behrend Lions posted a season-best kills in a set with 15 to take a 1-0 lead in the match
* In the second set, Behrend won six of the last eight points to get one set away from the season sweep
* David Mendez-Fernandez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Colegio Dan Ignacio de Loyola), Logan Hering (North East, PA/North East) and Josh Meyer (Ambridge, PA/Ambridge) each posted a kill in the final points to help the Lions take a 2-0 edge
* Behrend closed out the third set with two kills from Colin Dedert (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) and two service aces
* Dedert paced Behrend with 10 kills, while adding six digs and two assists
* Sophomore Adrian Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) recorded a season-high 18 digs
* Freshman Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) dished out 26 assists on 37 team kills
* The win marks the second straight for the Lions
