GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel women's tennis team defeated Penn State Behrend 6-3 in non-conference action on Friday afternoon.

* Thiel won two doubles matches and four singles matches to defeat the Lions
* Marissa Bowles (South Orange, NJ/Columbia) and Jada Donatien (Brooklyn, NY/Fairview) posted their fourth doubles win of the season at the No. 1 spot, defeating Natalie Zgurich and Angela Campbell, 8-6
* Bowles was s double winner thanks to a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles
* Hadley Howell (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) took Campbell into sets, winning 6-4, 1-6, 10-6
