PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team swept Carlow for the second time this season, this time in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

* The Lions defeated the Celtics four days ago in an AMCC tri-match hosted by Houghton
* Behrend held Carlow to 21 total points over the first two sets
* The Lions recorded a season-high 18 services aces in the win
* Joseph Sciscio (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South) and Eddie Cebula (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) each registered a team-best five kills
* Tarendran Heyward (Flossmoor, IL/Homewood-Flossmoor) dished out 10 assists and added three kills
* Behrend used a 12-3 run to close out the first set with a 25-10 win
* The Lions had five service aces in the first set and got the final point on a Heyward ace

* Down the stretch, Carlow went on a 5-0 spurt but Luke Mumpower (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) set Jake Mumpower (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) to win the match at 25-19 in the third
