ERIE, Pa.  – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team scored three second-half goals to defeat Baldwin Wallace 3-0 in the opening round of the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

* It marks the second straight three-goal win for the Lions
* Behrend scored all three goals within 10 minutes in the second half
* Trinity Prestash (Phillipsburg, PA/West Branch) and Emily Grande (Sharon, PA/Hickory) tallied three points with a goal and an assist apiece
* Prestash scored her second goal of the season and got the Lions on the board in the 49th minute
* Isabella Mollica (Moon Township, PA/Moon) registered her first collegiate assist on Prestash's goal, coming from the left side of the box and into the right-side netting
* In the 59th minute, Grande's back-to-back shots saved by Abbey Pheiffer led to the second goal by Brenna McGuire (McDonald, PA/South Fayette)
* McGuire gathered the ball off the rebounded save and scored her first goal of the season for a 2-0 lead

* Madi Jones (Clearfield, PA/Clearfield) only need one save to preserve the shutout and her first win of the season
