Scoring Frenzy Favors Mt. Union Over Women's Soccer

ERIE, Pa. – The Mount Union women's soccer team scored two goals in the final three minutes of the contest to defeat Penn State Behrend 5-4 in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

* The Purple Raiders rallied down 2-1 in the first half, scoring three in the second half for their second win of the season
* Alanna Woodworth netted the game-winning goal with less than two minutes to play
* Woodworth tallied her first goal of the season off a deflect shot by Andrea Decker to put Mt. Union ahead 5-4 with time expiring
* Lizzie Hoff (Moon, PA/Moon) got the equalizer goal for the Lions, making it 4-all late in the second half
* Hoff and Trinity Prestash (Phillipsburg, PA/West Branch) each posted one goal and one assist for Behrend

* Mt. Union had the final say, leaving the Lions with little time to get a third equalizer
* Starting goalie Morgan Harding (Pittsburgh, PA/Carlynton) registered two saves, while Michele Hofacker had four saves in the win
