BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball split a pair of Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) matches on Saturday afternoon at Geneva.

Match One:
Score:  Geneva 3, Penn State Behrend 1 (25-22, 25-16, 23-25, 25-18)
Records: Penn State Behrend (8-6, 3-1 AMCC), Geneva (15-6, 4-0 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* Geneva handed the Lions their first AMCC loss and keep an unblemished conference record in the AMCC Game of the Week
* The Golden Tornadoes hit .345 for the match to edge Behrend  
* The first set was tied seven times before Geneva took the lead for good at 17-16
* The Lions rallied from a 21-8 deficit in the second to get within seven at 23-16
* Behrend won the third set, winning on two errors by Geneva at 25-23
* The Lions committed 10 attack and four service errors in the third set to lead to a 25-18 Geneva win
* Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) had his first 20-kill performance this season to lead Behrend
* Jake Albert (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) posted his first collegiate double-double with 10 kills and 25 assists

Score:  Penn State Behrend 3, Hiram 0 (25-15, 26-24, 25-20)
Records: Penn State Behrend (9-6, 4-1 AMCC), Hiram (8-7, 3-4 AMCC)  

Key Moments:

* The Lions swept the Terriers for their fourth conference win
* Behrend registered a .340 attack percentage and held a 47-28 advantage in kills
* The Lions registered 17 kills on 26 points in the second set
* Hildebrand and Albert registered the final two kills in the second set to break a 24-all tie and give Behrend a 2-0 lead in the match
* Hildebrand led with 17 kills (0.387 percentage) and a team-best seven digs
* Josh Mathews (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) and Diego Ortiz (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) combined for 43 assists
* Ortiz dished out 22 and Mathews added 21 and six digs
* JP Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) tallied eight kills, six digs and two blocks in the win
