    Quade threw two complete games that earned the Mounties two victories, both in crucial series against AMCC Tournament qualifiers. He won his first start against La Roche, on Tuesday, where he allowed three hits and one run, also striking out four batters. He followed that up by winning his second start, allowing four hits and a run, while striking out nine batters. On the week, the freshman threw 14.0 innings, pitching to a 1.29 ERA and striking out 13 batters. He leads the AMCC in conference play in wins (4) and batting average against (.157) and is second in ERA (1.29).

    Stouffer helped the Lions to a 5-0 week to clinch the AMCC Regular Season and the rights to host the Conference Tournament. Stouffer logged an RBI in all but one game this past week and drove in multiple runs in three contests. He finished the week with 10 RBIs and having had a hit in each game, he increased his hitting streak to seven games. Offensively, he registered four multi-hit ballgames with six going for extra bases, including two homeruns with a round-tripper against Thiel and La Roche. The homerun against the Redhawks proved to be the game-winning RBI as Stouffer left the yard to give the Lions a 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh. His week concluded with a slash line of .550/.542/1.100, making for a 1.642 OPS.

    The Penn State Behrend baseball team hosts the Alfred State College Pioneers for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Games of the Week on Tuesday, April 26 at the Behrend Baseball Field.

    Glass recorded his fourth win of the season in game one of Saturday's doubleheader against Hilbert, tossing his team-best sixth complete game of the spring. The right-hander pitched all nine innings, allowing just one run on three hits and a walk, and he fanned a career-high 10 batters. Glass took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, before it was broken up on a two-out double.

    Bonadio batted .565 and drove in nine runs for the Bobcats in six AMCC games last week. He was the table setter in the leadoff position and scored seven runs and added four extra base hits for the Bobcats. On top of playing a solid center field, he came in and pitched 4.1 innings of relief for his first pitching appearance of the year. He gave up just three earned runs and struck out two batters.

    The Penn State Behrend (15-9, 8-2) at Hilbert College (13-13, 5-3) baseball game originally scheduled for April 20 at Hilbert has been flipped to take place on the campus of Behrend.

    Zick earned his second win of the season over Medaille last Tuesday, tossing seven-strong innings in his lone start of the week. Zick improved on his conference-leading mark in ERA, keeping the Mavericks scoreless through seven innings of work. Zick registered a dozen strikeouts and allowed just two hits with the 12 strikeouts being a new career high. Following the start, his ERA dropped to 1.53 and continue to lead the AMCC.

    Bowen registered a hit in all five games last week including multi-hit performances in four, helping the Lions to a perfect 5-0 record. Bowen collected 12 hits in 22 at bats (.545) and hit for extra bases seven times including two homeruns. He finished the week with an astounding 1.091 slugging percentage and an OPS of 1.674. Bowen produced 13 runs and drove in eight while swiping six bags without getting caught. Bowen was on cycle watch in both victories over Altoona, completing three legs of the rare accomplishment while combining for six hits in the conference sweep. In addition, Bown picked up the save on the mound in the Lions' 6-1 victory over Medaille.

    On April 13th, Hilbert College catcher Samuel Mullen joined John Riviere-Vejas as the second Hawk this season to be selected to the D3Baseball National Team of the Week.

    McAndrews played a vital role this week for the Hawks out of the bullpen, picking up both a win and save. On Tuesday, he tossed 1.2 scoreless innings of relief to pickup the win at Pitt-Bradford. Then on Saturday, McAndrews came in with the Hawks leading La Roche 4-2 and the bases loaded and got a big strikeout to get out of the jam. He proceeded to throw the final 10 outs of the game, striking out five batters and did not allow a single run to earn his second save of the season. The right-hander finished the week with a .167 batting average against after allowing just three hits over two appearances. McAndrews is now 1-0 with a pair of saves over 8.0 innings pitched in conference play and has yet to allow a run.

    Barinas was a dominant force in the Pioneers' double AMCC sweep last week to extend their win streak to 10 and remain undefeated in conference play. In four games, Barinas went 9-for-10 at the plate, recorded a .900 batting average, 1.400 slugging percentage, seven RBIs, five runs, two triples, one double and stole five bases. In their sweep over Medaille, he went a perfect 6-for-6 at the plate. In their 11-5 win in game one he had two RBIs and scored one run. In game two, they won 12-2 and he contributed three RBIs, one run and one triple. Against Penn St.-Altoona, Barinas was a combined 3-for-4 at the plate. In their 4-0 shutout in game one, he had one run and one triple. In their 13-3 win in game two he was 1-for-1 at the plate and recorded two RBIs and two runs.
