Tied 4-4 early in the second set, Penn State Altoona scored the next four points in a row, thanks to two Tamashiro kills, a Fisher kill, and a Sandowski service ace. An ace by Tamashiro upped the Lions' advantage to 11-6, and Fries and Sandowski teamed up on a block to make it 15-8. Kills from McKenna, Petrones, and Fries helped Penn State Altoona get to 22-13, and leading 24-18, a Hood service error clinched the second set for the Lions, 25-18.
