ALTOONA, Pa -- The Wittenberg Tigers collected their first win on the road at Penn State - Altoona scoring six goals to the Lions' zero. With a roster double to size, the Tigers were able to make big plays and keep high energy. The Tigers dominated the game, tallying 19 shots on goal with Altoona only having two. Logan Evans struck goald first from Eli Esterline in the 22nd minute, and it was that change in momentum that put the Tigers on top.

The Tigers excitement got ahead of them as Bowen added a yellow card to his collection in the 74th minute and Patterson Edris at the 72nd minute. The Tigers collected themselves and were able to finish otu the game strong.

Evans would go on to have a hat trick against the Lions, scoring the second goal at the 30 minute mark, unassisted. The Tigers made things easy on goaltender Jason Bowen, as it was all offense for Wittenberg. The Tigers wouldn't score again until late into the second half, with Evans sending the ball to Aaron Craddock for goal number three. It didn't take long for the rest of the team to catch on as Evans grabbed his third goal for the afternoon, assisted by Esterline and Lukas Lindberg

On goal number five, Esterline took matters into his own hands, collecting and controlling the ball before sending it into the back of the net, put the Tiger up even higher in minute 79. Hunter Blair decided to join his teammates adding to the goal count after shaking off a defender and taking on the keeper himself, sliding it passed him to end the game in the 82nd minute, totaling the Tigers' victory at 6-0.

The Wittenberg Tigers head down to Mount St. Joseph on September 8 to play at 7:30 p.m.
