CORAOPOLIS, Pa. --- Men's Soccer lost a tough 5-0 contest to NAIA opponent Georgetown (Ky.) College at AHN Montour Junction Sports Complex Wednesday.
Back-to-back goals a little over a minute apart gave the Tigers (4-2) a 2-0 lead just 15 minutes into the game.
Georgetown added another goal at 43' and a last-minute goal before the half to take a 4-0 lead into intermission.
Carlow (0-2-1) held the Tigers to just one goal in the 51st minute, but the damage had already been done.
Goalkeeper Kevin Garcia made 13 stops against a barrage of 18 shots on goal in the complete game effort.
The Tigers did not allow the Celtics a single shot on goal the entire game, out-shooting Carlow, 33-1.
Georgetown held a 13-2 corner kick advantage on the afternoon.
The Celtics return to action Friday with another home match at AHN Montour against Central Penn College.
