MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Albertus Magnus College baseball team dropped two games on Monday afternoon at The Ripken Experience. The Falcons dropped their first game, 11-2 against Lesley, followed by a 7-3 loss to La Roche.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Lesley jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Falcons got a run back in the bottom of the second on a fielder's choice by Anthony Abate (Naugatuck, Conn.) to make it a 2-1 game.
• The Lynx scored three in the fourth on a two-run double by Adam Budorick highlighted the inning to put Lesley up, 5-1.
• Lesley put the game away in the top of the sixth, scoring six runs as Colby Jacobs hit a three-run homer.
• Albertus scored once more in the bottom of the seventh on a sacrifice fly from Abate.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After a scoreless first inning, the Redhawks got on the board on an RBI single from Dom Brncic and added three more in the third on three RBI singles.
• Albertus had opportunities to score in the first three innings, but had a runner thrown out at the plate in the first and left the bases loaded in the second and third.
• After the Redhawks scored two in the bottom of the seventh to take a 7-0 lead, the Falcons got on the board with two runs in the top of the eighth as Tyler Harger (North Haven, Conn.) singled and Bobby Arent (Ridgefield, Conn.) walked before Vance Ward (Norwalk, Conn.) reached on an error that scored Harger. Colin Telford (Branford, Conn.) added a sacrifice fly. Harger added an RBI single in the ninth.
