Jack Galla, Franciscan University, Men's TennisApril 24, 2017Galla was a part of the dynamic No. 3 doubles team with senior David Freytag as they won both of their doubles matches in the AMCC tournament. Galla won one of his two singles matches (went unfinished against MAC) in the tournament. His 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 6 clinched the fifth straight AMCC crown for the Barons.

Jared Harshberger, Penn State Altoona, Men's TennisApril 17, 2017Harshberger had a strong match at non-conference opponent Frostburg on Friday, helping the Lions grab a 7-2 win. In No. 3 doubles, he and his partner won 8-1. In No. 5 singles, he earned a 6-2, 7-6 victory.

David Freytag, Franciscan University, Men's TennisApril 10, 2017Freytag finished the week 2-0 in both singles and doubles, including two big wins in the match against Behrend to lead the Barons to the AMCC regular season title. The senior dropped just two games in his four matches, as he won 6-0, 6-0 against UPB and 6-0, 6-1 against BEH, while also picking up 8-1, 8-0 victories in doubles play against UPB and BEH, respectively. Freytag is on an eight-match doubles winnning streak and a five-match singles winning streak.

Yanique Apgar, Penn State Behrend, Men's TennisApril 03, 2017Apgar remains undefeated in conference play with a pair of singles and doubles wins at the No. 1 spot. He only surrendered five match points total this weekend. He was victorious over PS-Altoona with 6-0, 6-1 victories in singles and won 8-1 in doubles play. In a win over Mount Aloysius, Apgar once again won 6-0, 6-1 in singles play and picked up an 8-2 victory in doubles.

Jarek Sulak, Franciscan University, Men's TennisMarch 27, 2017Sulak overcame a 5-4 deficit in the first singles set to win 7-5 against Otterbein, before rolling to a 6-2 win in the second set, helping the Barons to their first win over Otterbein in program history. Sulak and doubles partner John Gallagher cruised at No. 1 doubles against Otterbein, 8-1. The doubles partners played perhaps their best on the year behind baseline dominance from Sulak and Gallagher's net game, they lost only a single game before putting their opponents away 8-1. Against Mount Aloysius, Sulak dropped only one game in singles play before Sulak and Gallagher won five-straight games to win at No. 1 doubles, continuing their three-year streak of undefeated AMCC doubles play.

Brenden Dollard, Penn State Behrend, Men's TennisMarch 20, 2017Dollard posted a 3-2 singles record in five matches for the Lions, including a win at No. 3 singles. He then picked up a pair of doubles wins in the No. 2 spot, as the Lions went 2-3 on their spring break trip to South Carolina.

John Gallagher, Franciscan University, Men's TennisMarch 06, 2017Gallagher dropped just two games in the first AMCC match between his singles and doubles matches, as he recorded 6-0, 6-1 victories at No. 2 singles and an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. Gallagher is undefeated in conference double action in this three years at FUS.

Thomas Graden, Penn State Altoona, Men's TennisFebruary 27, 2017Graden had a strong opening week for the Lions, going 2-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles. He posted No. 4 singles wins over PAC opponents Geneva and Saint Vincent, and he also won in No. 2 doubles against Geneva

Trent McErlane, Mount Aloysius College, Men's TennisFebruary 20, 2017McErlane did not lose a set in singles and doubles victories over Westminster on Sunday. He won 6-0, 6-0 at #3 singles and 6-0 in #2 doubles as the Mounties notched their second win of the season by a 7-2 scoreline.
