Trent Rozich Men's Basketball
Pitt-Greensburg
Rozich helped lead the Bobcats to a 2-0 start to conference play, continuing on the 8-0 record to start the season. In the two conference games this past week, Rozich averaged 25.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. He was one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double against Altoona, finishing the game with 22 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four steals. He followed that up by scoring the game-winning points with 0:36 remaining to lead UPG over Pitt-Bradford after trailing the entire game. He finished that game with 28 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal. For the week, Rozich averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1.0 block per game, while carrying a 3.3 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Molly Kosmack Women's Basketball
Mount Aloysius College
Kosmack delivered an outstanding three-game stretch, averaging 16.3 points per game while shooting an efficient 72.0 percent from the field. She totaled 49 points on 18-of-25 shooting, highlighted by a 20-point performance against Hilbert and an 18-point outing at Carlow, where she eclipsed the 1,000-career-point milestone. Kosmack also made a major impact on the boards and defensively, averaging 15.0 rebounds. She also added 3.7 assists, 3.3 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game as the Mounties went 3-0 last week.
Sean Malenfant Men's Wrestling
Alfred State College
Malenfant (184) went 5-0 and tallied five falls on his way to winning the bracket. On Friday, he took down Sam Tignor (WL), and Julian Schott (Mary) with second round falls. Then in the quarterfinals, he notched a 2:46 fall over Jake Gross (URSI) to advance to day two in the champion's bracket. On day two, he took down Luke Theis (TCNJ) in 2:16 to move to the first- place match. In the finals match he notched a 1:44 fall over Xavier Pommells (Ithaca) to take the championship title.
Talia Robles Women's Wrestling
Elmira College
Robles (160) had a strong weekend at the AMCC Duals Championship after positing an individual record of 5-0. She helped lead the Soaring Eagles to an undefeated, first-place finish and to be crowned AMCC Dual Champions. Robles recorded three falls and one tech fall on the weekend.
Savannah Douglass Women's Bowling
Saint Vincent College
Douglass helped to lead Saint Vincent to the tournament victory in the Hilbert Hammer Classic, including a 4-0 sweep over NCAA-1 Niagara University in the championship match. For the weekend, Douglass averaged 217.3. She threw strikes on 54.7% of her throws, and converted 24 of 25 makeable spare attempts (96%). She was a perfect 15-for-15 on single pin spares, and in 18 Baker games at anchor, did not have a single missed shot in the 10th frame.
Danielle Sasuga Women's Volleyball (Defensive)
Pitt-Bradford
Sasuga collected 45 digs and successfully received 42-of-43 service attempts in a pair of must-win matches for Pitt-Bradford over the weekend. In the five-set win over Alfred State, she collected 25 digs and successfully received 27 service attempts. Sasuga averaged 5.63 digs per set on the week.
Lindsay Madigan Women's Volleyball (Offensive)
Hilbert College
Madigan had another strong week for the Hawks, leading her team to a 2-0 record. Madigan finished with 24 kills, hitting .212 with 40 assists, nine aces, and 22 digs. She also recorded another career triple-double in the Hawks' win over Carlow, as she recorded 12 digs, 23 assists, and 17 digs to go along with seven service aces in the five-set victory. The victory over Carlow helped the Hawks clinch the No. 4 seed in the AMCC championship tournament and the right to host a first round playoff game.
Gianna Slusser Women's Wrestling
Penn State Altoona
Slusser (131) had a win in Friday night's team loss at non-conference opponent Waynesburg, pinning the Yellow Jackets' Melanie Matherson in 4:02 for a victory at 131.
