Donna Ledwin has served as the first commissioner of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference since 2002.  Prior to the AMCC, she was the commissioner of the New Jersey Athletic Conference.  Ledwin also has 15 years’ experience on college campuses, serving as the Director of Athletics at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland (now Notre Dame University of Maryland); the Director of Athletics at the College of New Rochelle; and as an Assistant Athletic Director at Yale University.  She received her B.A. in Communications with a minor in French from Fordham University, where she competed in tennis and volleyball.  Ledwin earned an M.B.A. in marketing and organization management from Boston University.

Her committee service includes the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics, the Minority Opportunity and Interests Committee and the Division III Infractions, Membership, Nominating, and Interpretations and Legislation Committees.  She has also has chaired several ECAC championship selection committees.  She is currently the chair of the Divison III LGBTQ Working Group.  Ledwin is also a past president of the Division III Commissioners Association, where she received both the Meritorious Service Award (2020) and the Distinguished Service Award (2008).  In 2007 she was recognized as the ECAC Jostens Female Administrator of the Year, and in 1998 she was honored as the NACWAA District III Administrator of the Year.  Ledwin was named a Sports Ethics Fellow by the International Institute for Sport in 2006, recognized for her ongoing efforts in the area of sportsmanship and ethical conduct at the conference and national levels.  In 2016 Ledwin was inducted as member of the inaugural class of the Nardin Academy (Buffalo NY) Athletics Hall of Fame.  She is also a member of the Athletics Hall of Fame at Notre Dame University of Maryland.
