    chroeder and the Hawks went 2-0 this week beating Pitt-Bradford and Mount Aloysius. Against Pitt-Bradford, Schroeder led the Hawks in scoring with 30 points (going 13-for-14 from the free-throw line) while also collecting eight rebounds, three assists and four steals. On Saturday against Mount Aloysius, Schroeder dominated the game, scoring 31 points (11-for-28 from the field) while also earning five assists and six steals. For the week, Schroeder averaged 30.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 steals, ad 4.0 assists per game.

    McCully led the Bobcats to a 2-0 week in conference play last week, as she played 36.5 minutes per game, averaging a double-double over the two games. McCully helped her team to win over Penn State Altoona on Wednesday night by scoring 23 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, while also adding five assists, eight steals, and a block. In a win over Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, McCully once again poured in 23 points to go along with nine rebounds, nine assists, and three steals. For the week, she averaged 23 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and 5.5 steals while only giving away 1.5 turnovers per game. She shot 51.5 percent from the floor and went 10-for-12 from the free-throw line.

    Abram recorded her season-high points against Pitt-Greensburg with a total of 32, as she shot 13-for-16 and went 6-for-6 from the free throw line. She also earned six rebounds, three assists and one steal. In the Redhawks' matchup against Penn State-Behrend, Abram netted 11 points and snagged four rebounds. For the week, she averaged 21.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

    The AMCC Women's Basketball Game of the Week features the top two teams in the conference, as the La Roche University Redhawks enter the game undefeated in conference play, while the Penn State Behrend Lions come into the game with an 8-1 record -- their only loss of the season coming to the Redhawks back on January 7.

    Hairston recorded two double-doubles last week, including a season-high 25 points against PS-Altoona, to keep the Redhawks a perfect 8-0 in conference play. In a win over PS-Altoona, she recorded 25 points, 13 rebounds, and an assist. On Saturday against Pitt-Bradford, Hairston picked up her second double-double on the week with 21 points, 17 rebounds, three blocks, and two assists. The senior averaged 23.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 1.5 assists per game. Hairston went 17-for-34 on the week, for a 50% shooting percentage from the field.

    McCully averaged 25 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.5 assists in the Bobcats two conference games against La Roche and Pitt-Bradford. McCully played an average of 37 minutes in those games and was the Bobcats primary ball handler. McCully posted a double-double against Pitt-Bradford, as she poured in 27 points, including six three-pointers, and grabbed 12 rebounds, while also adding four assists. She then recorded 23 points and and seven rebounds against La Roche.

    Huston had a big week for the Lions in two more AMCC wins, helping the team improve to 4-0 in the conference this season. In Wednesday night's victory over Pitt-Greensburg, the senior guard had a game-high 22 points and team-high 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, while also finishing with five assists and three steals. In Saturday's win against Pitt-Bradford, Huston recorded her first collegiate triple-double, scoring 19 points, grabbing a career-high 15 rebounds, and matching her career-high in assists with 10. On the week, she averaged 20.5 points per game, 13.0 rebounds per game, 7.5 assists per game, and 2.5 steals per game.

    The Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team will be traveling to Altoona, PA on Wednesday evening to take on the Penn State Altoona Lions in the AMCC Game of the Week. The Bobcats and Lions, each with a 2-0 AMCC record, are in a three-way tie with La Roche University for first place in conference standings.

    McCully had a solid all-around week for the Bobcats, who started 2-0 in conference play. McCully had a season-high in rebounds (12), assists (9), and steals (5) in Pitt-Greensburg's win against Alfred State in which she also scored 16 points. McCully recorded 19 rebounds and 15 assists on the week. Over two games, she averaged 20.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists 4.0 steals.

    Hilbert College travels to Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday afternoon for the first AMCC Women's Basketball Game of the Week of the 2022-23 season. Both the Hawks and the Bobcats carry 4-7 records in non-conference action as they head into AMCC play.

    Altavilla averaged 17.0 points and 7.0 rebounds with a 2-1 record over the holiday break. She had double-digit points in all three games, leading the Lions with 22 points in a 71-65 win over Saint Mary's (MN). Altavilla shot 75 percent from the free-throw line and averaged 2.7 assists and 32.3 minutes per game.

    Schroeder scored a season high 32 points on the Hawks fourth win in a row against Buff State. She went 11-23 from the field (47.8%) and 5-9 (55.5%) from the 3-point line both of which are a season high. She also grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 3 assists and two blocks. She played 38 minutes in the win.
