PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona G Sarah Huston had a big week for the Lions in two more AMCC wins, helping the team improve to 4-0 in the conference this season. In Wednesday night's victory over Pitt-Greensburg, the senior guard had a game-high 22 points and team-high 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, while also finishing with five assists and three steals. In Saturday's win against Pitt-Bradford, Huston recorded her first collegiate triple-double, scoring 19 points, grabbing a career-high 15 rebounds, and matching her career-high in assists with 10. On the week, she averaged 20.5 points per game, 13.0 rebounds per game, 7.5 assists per game, and 2.5 steals per game.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg G Sidney McCully played the most minutes for the Bobcats and was the leading scorer in two conference games, as she averaged a double-double with 15 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, including a 17 rebound game against Altoona...PS-Behrend G Madilyn Boyer shot 66.7 percent from the floor and 75.0 percent from the charity stripe to help the Lions post a 2-0 AMCC record this week, as she led with 23 points and nine rebounds in the win over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday, going 6-for-10 from three-point range and averaging 6.5 rebounds...La Roche G Machia Hairston recorded her sixth double-double of the season this weekend against Alfred State, as she netted 11 points and snagged 11 rebounds, while also recording 15 points and four rebounds against Mount Aloysius...Pitt-Bradford G Alexa Ackerman averaged 14 points, four rebounds and two steals per game for the Panthers last week, setting a career-high with 18 points, making six threes, in the loss to PS-Altoona.
