Penn State Behrend holds Men’s Soccer scoreless in AMCC match

CORAOPOLIS, Pa. --- Carlow University men's soccer lost a 4-0 contest to Penn State Behrend at AHN Montour Saturday afternoon.

The Lions (10-3-3, 6-1-1 AMCC) dominated possession and did not allow the Celtics (2-12-1, 1-7 AMCC) a single shot the entire match.

Behrend recorded 35 shots (20 on goal) and tallied nine corner kicks on the day.

Carlow goalkeeper Kevin Garcia made 15 saves, his second-best of the season, in the complete game effort.

Blake Cooper quickly scored the first two goals for the Lions at 3' and 12'.

Behrend scored again just seconds before halftime and put the finally tally on the board minutes after returning from intermission at 48'.

Carlow hosts Pitt Greensburg for the final match of the regular season at 7 p.m. Oct. 24. The Celtics are hosting a "Carlow Kicks Cancer" event, and fans are encouraged to bring new beanies/hats or blankets to donate to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
