AURORA, N.Y. --- Carlow University men's soccer won a 3-0 shutout victory over Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Wells College on the road Saturday.

The win over the Express (0-9-2, 0-6 AMCC) snapped a seven-game losing streak and gave the Celtics (2-10-1, 1-5 AMCC) their first AMCC victory of the season.

Carlow scored all three of its goals in the first half, and goalkeeper Kevin Garcia and the Celtics' defense held the Express to 12 shots on the day. Garcia made five stops in the complete game effort in net.

The Celtics out-shot Wells, 20-12 (12-5 on goal) and held a 7-5 corner kick advantage.

Nico Bel recorded his first goal of the season with an unassisted shot at 22' to kick off scoring for the Celtics.

Gavin Moore scored his fourth goal of the season at 26' to give Carlow a 2-0 advantage, and Bryan Pan recorded his first collegiate goal off a pass from Conner Smith to put the Celtics up, 3-0, in the 42nd minute.

Carlow put just three shots on goal in the second half, but its first half scoring was enough to carry them through.
