Gary Pierre, Franciscan University, Men's TennisMarch 16, 2020Pierre helped Franciscan University pick up a pair of victories over Wabash and Wentworth Institute of Technology on the teams spring break trip to Orlando, Fla. Pierre went 4-4 in doubles play, winning the #1 doubles match up each time. After dropping two highly competitive singles match ups early in the week, Pierre regrouped a post dominate victories in his final two #1 singles match ups.

AMCC CANCELLING CONFERENCE PLAY FOR SPRING SEASONMarch 13, 2020The AMCC Presidents Council has voted unanimously to cancel conference competition for the remainder of the academic year, effective immediately.

Matt Blose, Mount Aloysius College, Men's TennisMarch 09, 2020Blose went undefeated for the week, with a perfect 4-0 personal record against Lancaster Bible and Frostburg State. All of his wins were in the first position, only losing two points total at first singles. In doubles, he and his partner only lost a total of three points. The dominating week helped the Mounties to two non-conference victories.

Turner Price, Pitt-Greensburg, Men's TennisMarch 02, 2020Price posted a 2-0 record this week in an AMCC match at Medaille. Price dominated his singles match not allowing a single point in a 6-0, 6-0 win and in doubles action along with partner Vaughn Hunkele, defeated their opponenets by a score of 8-6. Price's performances helped lead Pitt-Greensburg to a 6-3 victory. After dropping the season and conference opener to Penn State Behrend earlier this fall, Pitt-Greensburg has now won four-straight matches and currently sits in second place in the standings with a 4-1 record.

Noah Colvin, Penn State Behrend, Men's TennisFebruary 24, 2020Colvin went 2-1 singles action and 1-0 in doubles this weekend for the Lions. He won at No. 3 singles in a tiebreaker set vs. the YellowJackets before picking up a 6-1, 7-6 win against Westminster. He also teamed with Michael Duckett for an 8-2 doubles win vs. the Titans in the third spot.

Turner Price, Pitt-Greensburg, Men's TennisOctober 07, 2019Price put together an incredible performance against Penn State Altoona as he did not drop a single game in both his singles and doubles matches. In doubles, along with partner Vaughn Hunkele, Price recorded an 8-0 win and in singles play, Price won 6-0, 6-0.

VAUGHN HUNKELE, PITT-GREENSBURG, MEN'S TENNISSeptember 30, 2019Hunkele posted victories in both of his singles matches, as well as both doubles contests, against Westminter and Pitt-Bradford. He allowed just two points in singles play and grinded out an 8-7 win in doubles, recording a 12-10 victory in the tie-break. Hunkele has lost just one doubles match so far this season.

Caleb Beidle, Mount Aloysius College, Men's TennisSeptember 23, 2019Beidle went undefeated in two AMCC matches, picking up a 4-0 record on the week. He was part of the winning duo in first doubles and won both of his second singles matches, including a tiebreaker set in the match against Behrend. Beidle was the only Mountie to go undefeated on the weekend.

Cole Kazmierczyk, Mount Aloysius College, Men's TennisSeptember 16, 2019Kazmierczyk went an undefeated 4-0 on the week, between doubles and singles. He only surrendered two sets in his singles matches, winning 6-1, 6-1, and 6-0, 6-0.

Turner Price, Pitt-Greensburg, Men's TennisSeptember 09, 2019Price carried the momentum of a fantastic freshman season into the debut for the 2019-20 season, posting a perfect 2-0 week, with wins in both singles and doubles play over Penn St. Behrend. Price rolled to a 6-0, 7-5 victory at the #1 singles spot and defeated his opponents 8-3 in the top doubles spot.
