Maddox Anderson, La Roche University, Men's Soccer (Defensive)October 21, 2024Anderson came through with a perfect week for La Roche, going 1-0-1 and propelling themselves into playoff contention. In the first game of the week, a 4-0 victory over Carlow, Anderson picked up his first clean sheet of the season, making three saves. Anderson followed that performance on Saturday, shutting out the AMCC's first placed Alfred State Pioneers, making five saves in the 0-0 draw. For the week, Anderson made eight total saves to go with his two clean sheets.

Juan Camacho, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Soccer (Offensive)October 21, 2024Camacho moved up the Mountie career record books in two Mountie wins. Against Pitt-Greensburg, he scored one of the Mounties' three goals in a 3-1 win, notching him his tenth goal of the season. Then, in a Senior Day victory against Pitt-Bradford, he scored the first three goals of the game, tying him for the program record in both goals scored and total points. On the week, Camacho scored four goals The senior is now 16th nationally on the active career goals scored list, with 42, as well as holding the program record.

At Houghton, he sent a header goal into the back of the net in the 68th minute to give the Lions a 2-1 win over the Highlanders. Cassano registered the first goal of the game in the AMCC opener at La Roche Saturday and helped Behrend preserve its first shutout win of the season.

Sam Denchfield, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Soccer (Defensive)September 23, 2024Denchfield was a massive piece of the Mounties' success in a 2-0 week, with two shutouts in goal. On Tuesday, Denchfield earned the shutout victory against Saint Vincent, making three saves in the 3-0 victory. The shutout was his first of the season. The week would only get better as he followed that with another shutout, on Saturday, against W&J. The sophomore stopped four shots by the Presidents in another 3-0 victory, extending the Mounties winning streak to three games. Denchfield now ranks in the AMCC top five in saves, save percentage, and goals-against average.

Gonzalo Terricabris, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Soccer (Offensive)September 23, 2024Terricabris sparked the Mountie offense to a 2-0 week, extending their winning streak to three games. Against Saint Vincent, he came off the bench and scored the Mounties' first goal of the game, on their way to a 3-0 victory, thus being the game-winning goal. Terricabris followed that up, on Saturday against W&J, scoring in the sixth minute on a penalty kick, to give the Mounties a very early lead. The lead would hold, as the Mounties won 3-0, giving him another game-winning goal. Terricabris is now tied for the lead in the AMCC with two game-winning goals on the season.

Sasha Mohoruk, Penn State Altoona, Men's Soccer (Defensive)September 16, 2024Mohoruk tied the Penn State Altoona men's soccer program's single-game saves record on Thursday night, stopping 16 shots between the pipes to help the Lions earn their first win of the season, a 1-0 shutout of Saint Vincent on the road.

Louis Bez, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Socer (Offensive)September 16, 2024Bez exploded offensively for the Mounties, propelling them to their victory against Bethany in a 1-1 week. Following a tough 2-1 loss to Geneva, Bez scored all three goals in Saturday's victory, jumping into the AMCC top five in goals scored. His three goals in less than 60 minutes combined gave the Mounties a 3-0 lead, before Bethany added a goal in the final minute. Bez's six points also pushed him up to fourth in the AMCC with seven total points on the season.

Mya King, Pitt-Bradford, Women's Soccer (Offensive)September 16, 2024King had a huge week for the Panthers, scoring five goals while adding four assists in a 2-0 week. She scored a first-half hat trick and added two assists in the victory over Penn State-Beaver, and then scored or assisted on four of five second half goals in the Panther's 5-0 win over Thiel. She is currently sixth in the nation in points per game at 4.20.

Juan Camacho, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Soccer (Offensive)September 03, 2024Camacho began his senior campaign on fire. Trailing 3-0 in their first game of the season, with just 15 minutes remaining, Camacho scored twice on penalty kick goals, to cut the lead to 3-2. Then with just over seven minutes remaining, he scored the game-tying goal before following that up less than a minute later with the game-winning goal, scoring four goals in less than eight minutes of game time and setting a new program single game record. Camacho finished the weekend with two more goals in the Mounties' loss to Buffalo State, earning him honors on the All-Tournament team.
