Luke Melisko, Mount Aloysius College, Men's GolfSeptember 19, 2022Melisko shot consecutive rounds of 75, leading the Mounties to a third place finish in the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic. After a strong first day score that left him in a tie for 6th place, the sophomore followed it up with another 75. He came in second overall, falling to the leader by two strokes. It was his highest collegiate finish.

Trey Heffelfinger, Penn State Altoona, Men's GolfSeptember 12, 2022Heffelfinger made his season debut for the Lions, shooting a 1-under par 71 during the first round of The Gauntlet at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course. His score tied him for fourth place individually in a field of 75 competitors heading into day two.

Peter Nusbaum, Penn State Altoona, Men's GolfSeptember 06, 2022Nusbaum led the way for the Lions in his first collegiate round in Saturday's Pitt-Bradford Invitational, shooting 71 to win the event's individual title out of 47 golfers. His score is tied for the fourth-lowest in a single round in team history, and it helped Penn State Altoona shoot 298 as a team to win the invitational.
