Elizabeth McEntee, Franciscan University, Women's LacrosseMay 08, 2017McEntee led the Lady Barons to a 17-16 win over Hilbert in the 2017 AMCC showcase final with five goals, two assists, and six draw controls. The sophomore's last goal was the difference maker in the game, as she scored with 4:31 to play to put the Lady Barons up 17-14.

Amanda Ruszczyk, Medaille College, Women's LacrosseApril 24, 2017Ruszczyk had a strong week for the Mavericks last week, helping them go 2-1. Defensively she was all over the field, scooping up a team high 12 ground balls and causing a team high five caused turnovers. She also earned 17 draw controls. Offensively she may have been even better, scoring 14 goals and adding three helpers to earn 17 total points in three games.

Sarah Espe, Medaille College, Women's LacrosseApril 17, 2017Espe recorded eight goals and nine assists in a 1-1 week for the Mavs, while also grabbing 10 ground balls.

Emily Gawlak, Hilbert College, Women's LacrosseApril 10, 2017Gawlak led the Hawks to their first win in three seasons with her five goals and 15 draw controls over D'Youville. She followed up with an eight goal, one assist performance against Lancaster Bible. The Hawks were down five goals in the last minute and in a span of 33 seconds she knotted three goals off the draw circle. Gawlak collected 17 draw controls in the close loss.

Emily Gawlak, Hilbert College, Women's LacrosseApril 03, 2017Gawlak led the Hawks at the draw circle with 25 draw controls over the three game span. She also recorded 10 points which included six goals and four assists, while also grabbing four ground balls.

Elizabeth McEntee, Franciscan University, Women's LacrosseMarch 27, 2017McEntee had two multi-goal games for the Lady Barons last week, including a five-goal, three assist effort in the AMCC win over Hilbert. McEntee was 1-1 on free position shots and won five draws. On the week, McEntee scored eight goals and added four assists and collected seven ground balls.

Emma Campagna, Medaille College, Women's LacrosseMarch 20, 2017Campagna was unstoppable for the Mavericks against Saint Vincent, having a career game as Medaille stayed undefeated with a 21-6 victory over the Bearcats. Campagna found the back of the net a career high seven times on Sunday, missing on just two of her nine shots. She also added two assists to give her nine points in a single game, the highest point total for any Maverick in a single game this season. She was just as good on the defensive side of the field, snatching up a team best six ground balls, causing one turnover and scooping up four draw controls.

Amanda Ruszczyk, Medaille College, Women's LacrosseMarch 13, 2017Ruszczyk had a strong week for the Mavericks offensively, scoring 12 goals and adding two assists for 14 points in three games as Medaille defeated Wilkes, Randolph, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Ruszczyk had hat tricks in both games last week, scoring three on four shots against Randolph and seven goals against Wentworth. She added an assist against the Leopards, helping Medaille improve their record to 3-0 on the season.
