DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona L Erin Lutz provided more rock solid defense for the Lions in a 2-1 week of play. In Wednesday night's home 3-1 win over AMCC opponent La Roche, the senior totaled a career-high 34 digs in the victory, and she followed that up with 10 digs in a Senior Night sweep of non-conference opponent Lycoming on Friday. During Saturday's tight 3-2 loss at home to first-place AMCC team Alfred State, Lutz recorded 18 digs. On the week, the senior libero totaled 62 digs for an average of 5.17 digs per set.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford DS Kayla Maslowski totaled 47 digs in a 2-1 week for the Panthers, as she led the team with 20 digs in a loss to Penn State-Behrend and collected 27 over two matches at the season-ending Pitt-Bradford tri-match, averaging 4.70 digs per set on the week...PS-Behrend OH Kelli Hoffer had double-digit digs in each match for the Lions, tallying a team-high 18 in a 3-0 win over Mt. Aloysius, as she averaged 4.29 digs per set while recording five aces on the week...Alfred State OH Karleigh Haines led the Pioneers in digs (23) in a five-set match against Altoona...Mount Aloysius OH Ashlee Parrish had a solid week for the Mounties, as she tallied a solid 4.00 digs per set, and picked up 24 digs for the week, including a big defensive performace against PS-Behrend when she recorded 20 digs in the loss, her third highest total of the year, but her highest in a three-set match.
