PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franciscan RS Meghan Bayer posted an impressive .444 kill percentage for the week in two huge Franciscan victories to make the AMCC playoffs for the first time in her career. Bayer also recorded a double-double, for the eighth time this season, with 19 kills and 13 digs in the playoff-clinching match against La Roche. For the week, she averaged 4.00 kills per set, 3.00 digs per set and five service aces. Bayer registered 25.5 points (5.1 points per set) for the week, which helped her clinch the second most points per set and kills per set in the AMCC this season.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend OH Keely Hering had three double-doubles this week to help the Lions post an undefeated 10-0 mark in the AMCC, knocking down 39 kills and 41 digs for the week, as she averaged 3.25 kills and 3.42 digs in three matches...Mt. Aloysius S Emma Pevarnik averaged over 15 assists per set in the lone AMCC victory of the week for the Mounties, picking up a total of 126 assists and also adding 35 digs...PS-Altoona OH Lydia Mock had another great week for the Penn State Altoona women's volleyball team during a 1-1 week of AMCC play, as she had 20 kills (2.86 kills per set), 33 digs (4.71 digs per set), and 23.5 points (3.4 points per set)...Pitt-Bradford OH Emily Cleveland once again led the Panthers in a 2-0 week against AMCC opponents wehre sh totaled 23 kills with a .273 hitting percentage and added a service ace and three digs...La Roche MH Ingrid Spear recorded 15 kills and seven total blocks for a combined 21 points in two conference matches against Franciscan & D'Youville, as she currently has 54 solo blocks this season, which is second in D-III and first in AMCC...Hilbert S Ashley Page ran the offense as the setter against Pitt-Bradford, notching five assists, along with one kill and five digs, and was then asked three days later to play middle hitter for the first time and without hesitation, happily stepped-up to play the new position where she recorded another kill, five digs and a service ace...D'Youville MH Sarah Wittek had a strong week to conclude her first season as a Spartan, as she tallied 15 kills in two matches last week, adding six digs, a block, and a service ace.
