PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona MH Tori Shingler put up some big numbers to help the Lady Lions go 3-1 last week, including 2-0 in conference play. In a 3-1 win over Mount Aloysius on Wednesday, she had 10 kills and two solo blocks. In a split with Waynesburg and Grove City on Thursday, she totaled 20 kills, four aces, four solo blocks, and two block assists in two matches. In Saturday's win at Pitt-Bradford, she put up 14 kills, three solo blocks, and two block assists. For the week, she recorded 44 kills (3.14 kills per set) while swinging at a .330 clip, four aces (0.29 aces per set), 10 digs (0.71 digs per set), and nine solo blocks/four block assists (13 total blocks - 0.93 blocks per set).

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mt. Aloysius LB Brenna Wright became only the second player in Mountie history to surpass the milestone of 1,000 career digs, as she averaged 4.88 digs per set in an 0-2 week for the Mount...PS-Behrend MH Kylie McSwaney had a team-best nine kills, while hitting .563 on 16 attempts with no errors in a 3-0 win over Hilbert...Medaille LB Hannah Johnson recorded 46 digs and averaged 5.75 digs per set in a 1-1 week for the Lady Mavs...La Roche MH Kayla Bulat was instrumental in La Roche picking up two conference wins last week, as she finished with 13 kills in a 3-1 victory of Pitt-Greensburg and nine kills in a 3-2 win over D'Youville...D'Youville OH Kendyll Smith had a solid week for the D'Youville Spartans, her 16 kills and 22 digs were among the most on the team through the week, while also adding 3 service aces...Hilbert MH Amanda Binder closed a tough week for the Hawks and collected 54 kills in five matches (3.18 kps).
