PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille S Simmone Talford had a huge week for the Lady Mavs helping them to go 3-0 on the week and get off to a 2-0 start in AMCC action. She had 80 assists on the week, including a season high 55 in a come from behind five set win against Franciscan. She also had an impressive .348 hitting percentage with 22 kills. Talford also jumped into 4th place all time in service aces as she had notched seven on the week to get to 142 for her career. She needs 18 more service aces to become Medaille's all-time leader in the category. Talford leads the AMCC with 8.84 assists per set.

BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan OH Dani Link posted double-digit kills totals in three of her four matches this week, while totalling 36 digs and six aces...Pitt-Bradford S Christina Rauh finished the week with 74 assists and 33 digs, while also chipping in with nine kills...PS-Behrend OH Rachel Frye led the Lions to a pair of conference wins this week, recording 24 kills and a .447 hitting percentage to go with five blocks...Hilbert MH Amanda Binder was named to the Blue Devil Invite All-Tournament team after leading Hilbert with 50% of their offensive kills and 38% of defensive digs...PS-Altoona S Kelsey Bristol had 20 kills (2.50 kills per set) while swinging at a .340 clip, 23 digs (2.88 digs per set), nine assists (1.13 assists per set), and one solo block...La Roche OH Toni Torchia finished with 28 kills and 40 digs in three games last week, highlighted by a 15 kill, 22 dig performance in a 3-2 comeback win over Waynesburg.
