Cabrini is the culprit ending the Behrend Lions 2022 season, as the Cavaliers won the first set, before rallying from a one-set deficit and win the final two sets to advance to the ECAC Championships. Behrend grabbed a 2-1 lead, winning the second set 25-21 and third set 25-19. In the third set, the Lions trailed 7-1 but used a 9-0 run to take a 10-7 lead that would not relinquish. Cabrini tied the match with a 25-14 fourth-set victory. The fifth set had seven ties with the last at 13-all and the Cavaliers winning the final two points, one on a kill and another on an attack error. Meg Goodsel had a second-straight double-double with 32 assists and 12 digs. Kelli Hoffer did better than her best from yesterday to record a new career-high 27 digs. Hannah Phillips added 15 digs and nine kills, while Brooke Joncas led with 11 kills
