REPINE BECOMES HILBERT'S ALL-TIME BLOCK ASSIST LEADER

REPINE BECOMES HILBERT'S ALL-TIME BLOCK ASSIST LEADER

Ashley Repine, Hilbert College's senior women's volleyball player, became the Hawks all-time block assist leader October 5 and currently leads the program with 0.66 Blocks per set.

The 5'11 middle hitter opened the week October 2 pushing two block assists to her career total which lifted her into a two-way tie at the top with 73 career block assists.

Repine was also busy moving up the block solo chart as well.  After notching two block solos Oct. 2 against D'Youville, she added three more solos against Cazenovia on October 4.

But she didn't move to No. 1 in block assists until Saturday, October 5 at SUNY Poly when she was credited with three block assists (and two more solo).  With 76 career block assists to her credit and four weeks left in the 2019 season, Repine will continue to create separation and build her numbers.

Additionally, with the seven block solos that she picked up last week, Repine moved into 4th place in the Hawks' block solo category as well.   She currently has 103 and is chasing the No. 3 player who recorded 122 at the conclusion of the 1997 season.

Lastly, Repine is 43 Blocks (assisted or solo) away from becoming the program's leader in total blocks as having amassed 179 through October 5.
