Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball (9-9, 5-0 AMCC) looks to stay hot as it hits the road to face AMCC opponent La Roche College (7-14, 2-0) in the AMCC women's volleyball Game of the Week. The Lady Lions are 7-1 in their last eight matches, including getting out to a 5-0 start in the conference. The Redhawks are also undefeated in conference play, with a 2-0 record, winning three of their last four matches overall.  

Penn State Altoona has gotten big contributions from its starting outside hitters, junior Kelsey Bristol and sophomore Lauren Diller. Bristol is seventh in the AMCC in kills per set (2.51) and eighth in total kills (143), and she also ranks 11th in the league in digs per set (3.56) and 12th in total digs (203). Diller is fifth in total kills (168) and sixth in kills per set (2.55). Sophomore middle blocker Josie Stovall has been strong in the center of the net, ranking fifth in the AMCC in attack percentage (.236), ninth in total kills (140), and 14th in kills per set (2.00), and she is also sixth in the league in solo blocks (12). Freshman setter Lauren Moran is fourth in the conference in total assists (376) and sixth in assists per set (5.70).

La Roche enters the game of the week with a 2-0 conference mark and looks to build on those wins as they welcome the Lady Lions to their gym on Wednesday evening. Junior outside hitter Laura Nath is tops in the conference with 224 kills and is second in kills per set with 3.03. Sophomore libero Hannah Scott is first in the AMCC in both digs and digs per set with 451 and 6.09, respectively. Sophomore middle hitter Janet Aland is second in the conference with 0.74 blocks per set.
