This week's AMCC women's volleyball game of the week features two of the hottest teams in the conference as of late. Mount Aloysius College (10-9, 2-1 AMCC) has won eight of their past nine games, while Penn State Altoona (8-8, 4-0 AMCC) are winners of six straight and undefeated in conference play. Mount Aloysius and Penn State Altoona are located only 20 miles apart, and with the match being played in Altoona's brand new Adler Arena, the gym is sure to be packed with energy. 

Coming off the weekend, Mount Aloysius stands in fourth place in the AMC with conference stats of 2-1 (10-9 overall). Several Mounties lead the AMCC in statistics. Junior MH Sarah Fisher is first in every hitting category (197 kills, 3.08 kills per set, .333 hitting percentage) and fourth in blocks per set (0.58). Freshman DS Kylee Clawson is second in both digs per set (5.34) and total digs (299). Sophomore S Emma Pevarnik is first in aces per set (0.59). The Mounties are also powered by junior S Jessica Bressler both offensively and defensively. 

Penn State Altoona junior OH Kelsey Bristol has been solid both offensively and defensively, and she is sixth in the conference in kills per set (2.42) and 11th in digs per set (3.36). Sophomore MB Josie Stovall is second in the AMCC in hitting percentage (.224) and 12th in kills per set (1.94). Sophomore OH Lauren Diller, the AMCC’s most recent Player of the Week, is 13th in kills per set (1.93). Freshman S Lauren Moran ranks fourth in the AMCC in assists per set (5.77).
