DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona GK Adeline Baustert had two shutouts in a 1-0-1 week of AMCC play for the women's soccer team. In Tuesday night's home 1-0 victory over La Roche, she made three saves to record her first win of the season. The senior followed that up by making six saves to preserve the shutout in a 0-0 tie with Alfred State at home on Saturday.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius GK McKenna Meadows led the Mountie defense to a 2-0 week, as she made five saves to help the Mounties earn their first conference win with a victory over Carlow, she followed it up stopping three shots in a 5-0 shutout against Hilbert on Saturday...PS-Behrend GK Riley Morningstar collected her fifth shutout of the season behind two saves in a 1-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday. improving to 8-2 on the season...Carlow M Tianna Torles anchored Carlow's back line, allowing just 17 shots on goal over two games this week, as the Celtics went 1-1 in conference action...Pitt-Bradford D Makartnee Mortimer played a vital role in an 0-1-1 week for the Panthers, as she played all 180 minutes on the back line, making numerous crucial interceptions and tackles to keep the Panthers in the game.
