Penn State Altoona women’s soccer hosts conference opponent Penn State Behrend this Saturday, October 19, at 3:15 p.m. for the AMCC Game of the Week.

Behrend enters the weekend on a six-game winning streak. The Lions have shut out the last four conference opponents, outscoring them 21-0. Behrend is coming off a 6-0 win over Alfred State on Tuesday night, as Trinity Prestash tied a career-high with four goals. Prestash is now tied for third on the all-time career goals list with 57. The Lions are ranked third in the regional rankings behind Carnegie Mellon and Case Western. Behrend is the only team with an unblemished conference record at 5-0. The Lions have scored 44 goals this season and only allowed eight, including one in AMCC action.

The Lions have gotten off to a 2-1-1 start in conference play, including wins over La Roche and Hilbert and a tie with Alfred State. Senior goalkeeper Adeline Baustert is third in the league in saves (59) and fourth in shutouts (3). Senior forward/midfielder Mallorie Smith and freshman midfielder Bridget Martin are tied for the team lead in goals with two apiece, while freshman midfielder Taylor Frederick has one goal and two assists.
