WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: Hiram SR Devan Welch had a 1st-place finish in the 285-lb bracket at the Jamestown Community College Open. The senior beat Niagara Community College by decision (3-2), Ohio Wesleyan by decision (8-2) and Pitt Bradford by decision (7-2).

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State JR Nick Barrett placed third at the JCC Open after falling to Elmira in dual meet action...PS-Behrend SO Kyle Trim tallied two pinfalls in four wins this week, leading the Lions vs. St. John Fisher and at the JCC Open. He pinned his opponent vs. the Cardinals, before going 3-2 at the JCC Open. Trim was one win shy of competing for third place. He had two wins by decision and one by fall.
